About Today’s MIXNINE Episode…

7-dreamers:

As high as our expectations were, and as excited as we were to see our girls, they were sadly edited out. All we got to see of them was Yoohyeon, Siyeon, and Dami boarding the training bus after Happy Face boys’ auditions, which were aired, and JiU boarding the debut bus, which obviously confused us in the showcase, the one in the debut team was Yoohyeon. But we got no explanation for it. Later in the episode, she no longer appeared to be on the bus. 

Although we are all very, very upset about this, we are happy to let you know that our very own leader, JiU won the voting for this week and got her full audition video released alongside another Happy Face contestant, the one and only, Woo Jinyoung. Congratulations to both of them, they deserve it and we’re glad to see Happy Face took the top spots this week.

What is Mixnine? Why are Dreamcatcher in it?

7-dreamers:

MIXNINE is a survival show, similar to that of Produce 101 by YG. From what we’ve come to know up to now, is that Yang Hyun Suk visited several companies to “discover new stars.” The finale will consist of 9 males and 9 females going head to head against each other and one of the two will win and debut. Supposedly, YG has visited 15 out of 60 companies so far and has selected 40 contestants.
We can’t say for sure if the group is supposed to be permanent or a temporary one like IOI/Wanna One, but considering there’s many already debuted idols who are going or rumored to go on this show, it’s likely to be temporary one, but we’ll obviously keep you all updated on anything regarding DC’s participation. 
For now, all we know is DC were interviewed for the show but there’s no confirmation that they’ll be participating.
